The deal was welcomed by 454 lawmakers, while 113 voted against it and 18 abstained.
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble has appealed to the Bundestag to vote in favor of the third Greek bailout program, during a parliamentary session on Wednesday.
Under the third bailout deal, approved by the Eurogroup on August 14, Greece will receive the first tranche of 26 billion euro (over $28 billion) in two payments in exchange for austerity reforms.
"I can now with full certainty ask you to vote in favor [of the deal]," Schaeuble said.
Until last month, the minister had opposed new packages of financial support to be provided by European countries to debt-ridden Greece, stating that there was no guarantee they would work.
"We need a strong and competitive Europe, it can not exist without trust, confidence and solidarity," the minister said.
According to the minister, as long as Greece stands by its obligations and implements the program in full, the Greek economy will grow again.
Greece owes more than $270 billion to its main international creditors, which are the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank and eurozone nations.
