“In the village of Druzhkivka military recruiters are going after conscription-age young men at local stores, street markets and on public transport,” Donetsk News Agency quoted Eduard Basurin as saying on Friday.
Basurin also said that Ukrainian law enforcers were posting photos of draft dodgers on billboards.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had earlier allowed enlisted soldiers who were being discharged from the armed forces to continue their service.
