UFA (Sputnik) — Russia is taking into account the possibility of Ukraine not returning $3 billion Moscow invested in its Eurobond, but will not write the losses off, and may go to court to receive the payment if necessary, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said on Thursday.

"Of course, it [the loss of $3 billion] is taken into account… If they do not pay us back, we shall turn to the courts. But nevertheless, the debt will remain," Siluanov said.

According to the minister, the debt is not being written off, and Russia will not forget about it.
