Police Begin Removing Protester Barricades in Armenia's Capital

Police in Armenia’s capital of Yerevan have begun dismantling barricades set up earlier by protesters, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported from the scene Monday.

Armenian Protests Spread From Capital to Second-Biggest City
YEREVAN (Sputnik) – Police moved between the barricades and the protesters at 12:30 p.m. local time (08:30 GMT) and began removing the barricades and dumpsters on Prospekt Bagramyana.

Several dozen protesters are observing the police's movements and singing patriotic songs and yelling slogans. No physical altercations between the two groups have been observed.
