Christine Lagarde may lose her post as the head of International Monetary Fund.

Due to the crisis in Greece, the head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, may lose her post, The Spectator wrote.

Economists have accused Lagarde of ignoring the debt relief program for Greece for a long time, as well as ignoring analysts' opinions of creating a united front with the European Commission and the European Central Bank.

As a former French finance minister, Christine Lagarde has allowed Europe’s political imperative — preservation of the euro at all costs — to overpower IMF principles.
Hence, it is increasingly unlikely that Lagarde will be reappointed when her term ends next year.
