Additional Sanctions Unlikely To Solve Ukrainian Conflict: Austria
Austria’s top diplomat who arrived in Moscow in the walkup to the May 9 Victory Day celebrations said that “one result of the liberation of Europe from Nazism was that Austria became an independent state again.”

“The most burning problem today is the crisis in Ukraine and we must find a way to make it end,” Sebastian Kurz said, adding that there were other challenges to deal with, including the threat posed by the Islamic State.

More than 6,000 people have died in eastern Ukraine since the start of Kiev’s bloody campaign to crush a pro-independence uprising in the country’s eastern Donbass region.
