"Data from the DPR reconnaissance show that Ukraine is preparing to strike Donbas," the Donetsk News Agency quoted Zakharchenko as saying.
According to the DPR leader, the very fact that Kiev is holding another wave of mobilization signifies that it is getting ready for a war.
Zakharchenko said, however, that the DPR remains open to a dialogue with Kiev.
Following months of diplomatic efforts, in February 2015, Kiev and independence supporters agreed to a new Minsk deal – a set of measures aimed to facilitate Ukrainian reconciliation. The deal stipulated a ceasefire that started on February 15, the withdrawal of heavy weaponry from the contact line in Donbas and introducing amendments to the constitution so as to decentralize powers in Ukraine.
Since then, the sides repeatedly accused each other of violating the Minsk Agreements.
Late in March, Ukraine's Defense Ministry said that it plans to draft about 21,000 recruits into Ukrainian army in April-May 2015.
