The rally organizers, according to RTFB, claimed that the Brussels march was attended by as many as 120,000 people who came to the capital from all over Belgium.

The protesters were carrying banners reading “Yes, there is an alternative.” Many of demonstrators called for fairer taxes and a better distribution of government spending.

On Monday Brussels is to witness another wave of protests, as, according to RTFB, the local labour unions have called for a series of strikes with 7,000 people expected to attend.
