Representatives of the Kiev radical group "White Hammer", which was earlier a part of the Ukrainian far-right nationalist organization "Right Sector", started organizing a new movement under the slogan "If you're hungry, kill bourgeois," the Ukrainian newspaper "Vesti" reports.
Members of the group have not called for direct physical violence, but consider it their "sacred duty" "to spoil the life" of Ukrainian officials and wealthy people in different ways, for example through investigative journalism, protests, disclosure of trade secrets and freezing of bank accounts.
The group has created a blacklist, which includes Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko, MP Arthur Ward, former MP from the Party of Regions Maxim Lutsk as well as former head of the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA), Alexander Popov. Local law enforcement authorities stated that there have been no direct threats against these people until now.
The "Right Sector" is Ukrainian association of radical nationalist organizations. Its members were involved in clashes with the police and seizure of administrative buildings during the Maidan events in January and February 2014, as well as in the suppression of protests in eastern Ukraine since April 2014.
The "Right Sector" is included in the list of banned organizations in the Russian Federation.
