Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna stated that foreign ministers of the European Union will discuss the possible organization of a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.

RIGA (Sputnik) – The foreign ministers of the European Union will discuss the possible organization of a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna said Friday.

“Yes, of course, we’ll discuss how to organize [a peacekeeping mission],” Schetyna said.

He said a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine would be “one of the key” issues for discussion during the EU foreign ministers’ meeting in Riga.
