MOSCOW, November 30 (Sputnik) — A department store in the western Swedish urban area of Ullared had to clear its shelves in the toys sections after a number of customers complained over the fact that toy soldiers were bearing Nazi symbols, The Local Swedish edition reported.

The miniature soldiers manufactured by Cobi bear uniforms similar to those worn by the Gestapo during the Second World War. The symbols on the soldiers also included swastikas and eagles.

This is not the first time when Nazi symbols have been discovered in Swedish stores.

Clothing design and manufacturing company Mango was earlier obliged to issue an official apology over a blouse with the printed symbols, which resembled the symbols used by the Waffen SS. In 2007, yet another Spanish-based fashion company, Zara, was involved in a scandal after a swastika appeared on the bags sold in the Swedish stores.
