MOSCOW, October 28 (RIA Novosti) — A Nigerian student has been hospitalized in the Russian city of Penza on suspicion of having Ebola virus, he is currently being tested, the local media reported on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old young man came to Russia on October 17 for an education program at a local architectural university. Since his arrival, he has made contact with over 24 foreign students. All of them have been isolated until the results of the analyses arrive back from Moscow. They are expected to be ready on October 30.

In case the student tests positive for the Ebola virus, Russia has all the vaccines and necessary medication to cope with the disease, an assistant professor at the Virus Science Department of the First Moscow State Medical University told Rossiya Segodnya.
