Cleared for Arrival
After Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wrote an apologetic letter to Vladimir Putin, relations continue to warm between the two countries. On August 8, Ankara lifted the ban on Sputnik Turkey website.
Turkish authorities opened access to the Sputnik news agency website, the head of Sputnik Turkey said Monday.
"Our website in Turkey has been unblocked. At 10 a.m. Moscow time we started receiving messages from users that they have access to the website," Mahir Boztepe said.
