It remains unclear whether it is preparation for a ground operation or just another attempt to put a spoke in the Russian operation's wheel in Syria, but Saudi Arabia announced its plans to supply Syrian Islamist rebels with surface-to-air missile.
Saudi Arabia has announced it is ready to supply surface-to-air missiles to the Syrian rebels in order “to change the balance of power on the ground” and “to allow the 'moderate opposition' to neutralize the helicopters and aircraft.”
Meanwhile, it's mostly Russian aircraft operating there. So against what targets these missiles will be used?
