13:29 GMT 05.11.2015 (Updated: 10:34 GMT 06.08.2022) God only knows how much US taxpayers paid for the Pentagon's anti-ISIL operation in Syria, and how much they will end up paying in the future if Washington continues to spend $8 million per day on the mission.
The US is spending $8 million a day on a mission that has so far failed to bring the US-led coalition any closer to its goal of degrading and ultimately destroying the brutal terrorist group in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, Moscow's limited military engagement in Syria costs far less (allegedly up to $4 million) and has proven to be far more successful.
