Russia, China, Mongolia to Sign Deal on Creation of Economic Corridor

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet his Chinese and Mongolian counterparts on the sidelines of the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) session, the sides are likely to sign a program of creation of an economic corridor between the countries, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said Wednesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Putin will meet China’s Xi Jinping and Mongolia’s Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj on June 23 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

"[The sides] will discuss the work on promotion of trilateral cooperation, discuss opportunities for future development, sign trilateral agreements, specifically a program for creation of an economic corridor between Russia, China and Mongolia," Ushakov told a briefing.
