Economic relations between Russia and Iraq will depend on oil prices, Moscow's ambassador told Sputnik.

BAGHDAD (Sputnik) — The future of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Iraq will depend on the global oil prices, Russia's Ambassador to Iraq Ilya Morgunov told Sputnik.

"Everything depends on how quickly oil will become more expensive, as it fills the Iraqi budget. They will then be able to make completely different orders, both in construction and supply, and increase the military-technical cooperation," Morgunov said.
