Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday will hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Motoo Hayashi and Minister of Health Yasuhisa Shiozaki.

NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley arrived in Japan for a six-day visit, during which he would meet with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, as well as key investors.

The NDTV broadcaster reported that Jaitley on Monday will hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Motoo Hayashi and Minister of Health Yasuhisa Shiozaki.

On Tuesday, Jaitley is scheduled to attend the 22nd International Conference on the Future of Asia organized by Nikkei Inc. He will also meet a number of key Japanese business figures and will take part in the meetings, forums and seminars dedicated to the investment potential of India.

On Wednesday, the Indian minister is expected to deliver a lecture at Osaka University devoted to India's change in the spheres of economy, politics and social life.

The minister is also expected to address Japan's involvement in the Make in India government program, which encourages multi-national companies to manufacture their products in India.
