Bolivia to Create National Atomic Energy Agency For Cooperation With Russia
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The nuclear deal with Russia will allow Bolivia to obtain the necessary knowledge in the field of atomic energy, Bolivian Deputy Minister for Electricity and Alternative Energy Joaquin Rodriguez Gutierrez told Sputnik on Tuesday.

In early March, Russia and Bolivia signed an intergovernmental cooperation agreement on the peaceful use of nuclear energy and cooperation in building a nuclear research and technology center at an altitude of 13,500 feet above sea level in El Alto.

"[The deal] will allow us to gain knowledge in different areas, which today Bolivia does not have," the Bolivian official said.
