Alatorre did not mention a particular Russian tractor manufacturer, however, earlier, the official had held a meeting with the representatives of Russia's Concern "Tractor Plants," according to RIA Novosti.

Mexico City will soon host a meeting of the Russia-Mexico Chamber of Commerce. The Russian businessmen, as well as the representatives of various Mexican companies and governmental agencies are expected to attend the meeting.

"We are going to discuss the issues of customs and transportation of goods, the whole range of issues of our trade," Alatorre said adding that Mexico plans to open a permanent exhibition center in Moscow worth $10-12 billion.

According to the Mexican Economy Ministry, the country's trade turnover with Russia in 2014 amounted to nearly $1.8 billion. The bilateral trade turnover has increased by 11 times since 1999.
