Greece Creditors Want to Remove Tsipras, Bring Samaras Back
ATHENS (Sputnik)  Greece will resume negotiations with its international creditors the day after the upcoming referendum, Christoforos Vernardakis, secretary general on government work coordination, said Friday.

Greeks are set to vote in a nationwide referendum on Sunday on whether the country should accept its creditors' demands for spending cuts and tax increases.

“I believe that ‘no’ will prevail. Despite threats, despite terror from the European Union, despite the media… the Greek people will say ‘no’ and the next day [after the referendum] we will begin negotiations from a better position,” Vernardakis told RIA Novosti.
