Russian energy giant Gazprom expects to increase its share in the European Union’s gas market, the company’s CEO Alexey Miller said Thursday.

BELGRADE (Sputnik) — According to the CEO, Gazprom achieved "very good results" in 2014, securing 30 percent of the EU gas market share.

"I can say that by the end of 2015 we will increase our share in the gas market of the European Union," Miller said at an energy conference in Belgrade, Serbia.
