MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Business representatives from Russia will present investment projects in the city of Jeddah as part of a five-day event taking place amid Saudi Arabia's interest in the Russian agriculture sector.

The Russian business week, which starts on Monday, is being organized simultaneously with the Jeddah Economic Forum. Both of the events will be attended by Saudi government representatives and entrepreneurs.

The arrival of representatives of Russian regions to Jeddah is in line with King Abdullah's initiative for Saudi agricultural investments, particularly in Russia.

On Friday, Saudi ambassador to Russia Abdulrahman Rassi stressed in an interview with RIA Novosti that both countries are interested in developing cooperation in the trade, economic and investment areas.
