Karzai: US Should Cooperate With Russia, India, China to Defeat Terrorism
The Indian delegation to the meeting was led by N Ravi, Chairman of India’s Joint Intelligence Committee, while Wang Yongqing, Secretary General of China’s Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, led the Chinese delegation.

During the first-ever high level counter-terrorism and security meeting, officials from both countries shared information on policies and legislation that had been used in their respective countries to deal with terrorism and exchanged views on the international and regional security situation.

The countries held detailed discussions on enhancing cooperation in counter terrorism and security. They also discussed the ways and means to jointly deal with security threats and combat terrorism.

In light of increasing threats from the various terror groups, a consensus is being built between India and China to counter the growing menace of terrorism. The countries feel this is a prerequisite for the growth and stability of the region.
