Social media users in Japan went crazy posting “proof” that animals somehow are able to feel the presence of Pokémon.

Since the hit mobile game became available in the birthplace of the Pokémon on July 22, players have noticed something strange in the behavior of their cats and dogs. Realizing that their pets were looking in the direction of the onscreen monster in real life, Pokémon Go fans started to snap screenshots and share them via Twitter and Instagram.

Looks like some pets have even succeeded in making friends with them.

However, not everyone looks happy and excited about the presence of Pokémon.

Whether fact or fiction, many people believe that our pets can detect unexplained or invisible presences, guided by their sixth sense. Perhaps that is the case.
