Toyota to Halt Car Production Over Parts Shortage After Factory Blast
TOKYO (Sputnik) – The explosion occurred on Monday at a factory owned by one of Toyota’s suppliers, Aisin Seiki Co. Four people were reportedly injured in the accident.

On Tuesday, Toyota said it had suspended production at some of its facilities in Japan.

The company has not fully recovered from production halts caused by major earthquakes in southern Japan last month.

In January, an explosion at an Aichi Steel plant left several of Toyota's parts plants short of steel.
