BOCHAROV RUCHEI (Russia) (Sputnik) —The Russian leader added that the two countries intended to increase mutual tourist flows.
"Last year, the Indonesian side introduced 30-day visa-free regime for Russia, we are working on the possibility of concluding an agreement on mutual simplification of visa procedures," Putin said after a meeting with his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo also invited Vladimir Putin to pay a visit to the Southeast Asian country, after a meeting in Russia.
"With utmost respect, let me invite President Putin to make a visit to Indonesia," Widodo said on the heels of negotiations at the Russian leader’s summer residence in Sochi.
The presidents met ahead of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit, which will take place in Sochi on May 19-20.
