MOSCOW (Sputnik) — At least 50 people died and more than 60 sustained injuries in a collision of two passenger buses with a fuel tanker in the Afghan southeastern Ghazni province on Sunday, local media reported, citing officials.
"The buses caught fire after the crash and most of the injured people are in a critical condition," a spokesman for the provincial governor, Aghagul Jawid Salangi told Afghanistan’s TOLO News.

One of the passenger vehicles has reportedly overturned.
Local police launched an investigation into the accident that is suspected to have been caused by unsafe driving.
