Magnitude 7.2 Earthquake Shakes Myanmar
14:36 GMT 13.04.2016 (Updated: 14:40 GMT 13.04.2016) A magnitude 7.2 earthquake took place Wednesday in Myanmar, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The earthquake struck approximately 75 km southeast of the western town of Mawlaik and around 177 km northwest of Mandalay, the country's second-largest city.
The earthquake could also be felt in parts of India and Bangladesh, according to the EMSC.
