The Indian IndiGo airline received bomb warnings for at least 10 flights on Wednesday, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) The warning was received at the IndiGo call center in Chennai International Airport in the south of the country, the NDTV television channel said citing a source at the airport.

On Tuesday, Indian Jet Airways received a bomb alert for five flights that was not confirmed after the planes underwent security checks.

Major Indian airports have been on high security alert since two suicide blasts hit the departures hall of Brussels international airport and an explosion shook a subway carriage in Maelbeek station on Tuesday. At least 31 people died and 260 were injured in the blasts. The Daesh extremist group, outlawed in a number of countries, including Russia, claimed responsibility for the attacks.
