MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The bus was carrying both local and foreign passengers back to Bangkok from Chiang Mai, the largest city in the country’s north, according to the Thai Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).
The vehicle overturned on the Asian Highway in the province’s Chaiyo district, according to the broadcaster.
Rescue workers were informed of the accident and rushed to the site.
The bus driver is currently being questioned to clarify the details of the incident, the Thai PBS said.
