A highly dangerous strain of malaria has spread through South-East Asia and was found in Myanmar only 25km from the Indian border.
The experts report that this is the most deadly type of malaria. The last outbreak of the disease occurred in the 1960s when the virus was delivered from Myanmar to India and other countries, killing millions of people.
