Fox News anchor Shepard Smith takes a revolutionary approach to art, crediting actor Leonardo DiCaprio with renaissance artist’s Leonardo da Vinci’s work. To be fair, they are both artists in the broader sense and do both have a cult following.

However, Smith’s fascinating new theory doesn’t hold up well due to the inconsistencies with the century in question: it appears that DiCaprio was born hundreds of years after the Mona Lisa’s creation.

But just imagine for a moment if they actually switched places? The Titanic would be a very different movie: the artwork in it would have probably been much more spectacular, but da Vinci would probably be as mesmerizing in the love scenes.

Of course, it’s highly unlikely that this mistake was made due to Mr. Smith’s ignorance, but it was just too funny.
