MOSCOW, September 6 (RIA Novosti), Ekaterina Blinova - Senator McCain has dismissed allegations made by iconic Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who had earlier accused the American senator and Israel's Mossad intelligence service of involvement in the Islamic State's creation.
According to Fidel Castro, McCain participated "together with that service [Mossad] in the creation of the Islamic State, which today controls a considerable and vital portion of Iraq and reportedly one-third of Syria as well," as cited by RT.
In an article, released by a Cuban state media outlet, Fidel Castro emphasized that NATO's aggressive stance regarding Russia and the situation in Ukraine reminded him of that demonstrated by Nazi SS. He also slammed Western political leaders for sheer hypocrisy.
"Many people are astonished when they hear the statements made by some European spokesmen for NATO when they speak with the style and face of the Nazi SS," the former Cuban leader wrote, as quoted by RT.
"Adolf Hitler's greed-based empire went down in history with no more glory than the encouragement provided to NATO's aggressive and bourgeois governments, which makes them the laughing stock of Europe and the world," he stressed.
Senator McCain has responded Fidel Castro on Twitter, as saying: "Congrats Fidel Castro, you have revealed my true secret role in shaping world events!"
Congrats Fidel Castro, you have revealed my true secret role in shaping world events! http://t.co/Ni3qQpd5MT

and added:
First I was sanctioned by Vladimir Putin, then #ISIS labeled me "the enemy," now Fidel Castro! Who's next?! http://t.co/Ni3qQpd5MT

However, some of his followers have found the arguments of Castro reasonable:
@SenJohnMcCain I think Comrade Castro means indirectly not intentionally it may have contributed indeed sure Israel recent action has so.

@SenJohnMcCain Will Islamic State be your boots on the ground to bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran?

Ironically, it's not the first time the notorious senator finds himself in such an embarrassing situation. Last year John McCain faced criticism from the Lebanese mass media sources for posing for photographs with members of the Free Syrian Army, in Syria. According to the Daily Star Lebanon, the individuals Mr. McCain was posing with were responsible for kidnapping 11 Lebanese Shiite pilgrims.
