The heads of the world's leading information agencies are discussing the future of media in Moscow on March 15-16 at the MINDS International conference hosted by RIA Novosti.
MINDS International is a global network of 22 leading news agencies working in the development of digital media.
“Minds International helps exchange knowledge between heads of information agencies; CEOs and managing directors, editors-in-chiefs, marketing directors and IT managers,” Minds International Managing Director Wolfgang Nedomansky said.
Sixty participants from 20 countries are attending the event, with each country represented by one information agency. Senior representatives from France's AFP, America's AP, Germany's DPA, Australia's AAP and Italy's TM News will discuss the role of information agencies in the rapidly changing world of media.
MINDS holds a conference twice a year, hosted by a partner agency. RIA Novosti has been a member of the association since 2008. The next conference will be held this fall in Belga news agency in Brussels.
