MOSCOW (Sputnik) — European consumers of Russian gas save on average 33 percent more from deliveries via the Nord Stream pipeline than via Ukraine, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Wednesday.
"Gas supplies via the Nord Stream route that was built a few years ago is currently around 1.5 times cheaper to European consumers than transportation via the Ukrainian gas transportation system," Novak told Rossiya-24.
