MOSCOW (Sputnik) — At least 15 people have been killed and several more injured since Friday in floods caused by heavy rains in central India, local media reported Saturday, citing police.
A house collapse in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh claimed the lives of seven people belonging to one family, critically wounding three others, the Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) said.

Another building collapsed due to continuing rainfall in the city of Maihar in the Satna district, trapping many people under ruins, IANS added.
Rescue teams have so far successfully pulled out four people, while a rescue and relief operation is still ongoing.
According to the media outlet, floods left many people trapped across the Madhya Pradesh state, including in the districts of Rewa and Panna.
