Lavrov: Russia Not Violating UNSC Resolution by Deploying Jets to Iran
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed on Tuesday that it had deployed Tu-22M3 bombers and Su-34 strike fighters in Iran and these aircraft have already been used to carried out airstrikes against Daesh in Syria.

"What is happening at the Hamadan air base is Russian plane flights carried out on the Supreme National Security Council order and in the framework of quadrilateral cooperation between Iran, Russia, Syria and Iraq," Alaeddin Boroujerdi said as quoted by the Tasnim news service.

The four countries established an information center to coordinate joint military action against Daesh last fall.
