MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, the Jordanian Armed Forces said that at least six guards died at the Syrian-Jordanian border as result of a terrorist attack.
Wahhab added, as cited by the Daily Star newspaper, that Jordan would face consequences for its support for extremists in Syria.
According to media reports, the car exploded near a camp for Syrian refugees at the border between the two countries, which is a home to about 70,000 people.
Wahhab founded the Arab Tawhid Party in 2006. He is a part of March 8 Alliance, a coalition of various political parties in Lebanon which also includes the Hezbollah.
Wahhab is a proponent of a pro-Syrian policy in his country.
