"Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will carry out a working visit to France on Tuesday, June 21. The visit's agenda presupposes meetings of the Ukrainian leader with French President Francois Hollande, President of the French National Assembly Claude Bartolone and French Senate President Gerard Larcher," the press service said.
On Friday, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal said that Poroshenko was set to meet Hollande on June 21.
Previously, on June 6, Poroshenko held phone talks with Hollande, as well as German Chancellor Angela Markel, on the issue of anti-Russia sanctions. They agreed to intensify negotiations on the implementation of the Minsk peace deal on Ukrainian reconciliation. Poroshenko also urged the leaders to accelerate granting Ukraine a visa-free regime with the European Union.
