According to reports, Argentine President Mauricio Macri met with Italian Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Ivan Scalfarotto.

BUENOS AIRES (Sputnik) – Argentine President Mauricio Macri met with Italian Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Ivan Scalfarotto, for negotiations on Italian investments in Argentina, Macri’s office said.

Scalfarotto is currently on a visit to Argentina as part of a delegation of 120 businessmen.

"Macri met with Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Italy," his office said Tuesday.

The two officials mainly discussed the possibilities for Italian investments in Argentina.

In February, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi visited Argentina.
