MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia’s new National Information Security Doctrine will be completed in 2016, Russian Security Council official Dmitry Gribkov said Thursday.
“The preparation of the doctrine was very dependent on the preparation of the main strategy of the Russian National Security [Doctrine],” Gribkov said at an information security forum in Moscow.
He said the information doctrine was of a strategic character and directed at countering threats against Russia’s national security in the information sphere.
“The preparation of this document is planned to be completed this year,” Gribkov said.
