The laws were published in Holos Ukrayiny, the official voice of Verkhovna Rada, on Wednesday.

KIEV (Sputnik) — Several legislative acts, rescinding agreements on military cooperation between Ukraine and Russia, have been published by the Ukrainian parliament’s official newspaper and will come into force on Thursday.

In May, the Ukrainian Parliament voted to annul an intergovernmental agreement with Russia on military cooperation and the organization of military logistics.

Moreover, Ukraine unilaterally terminated an agreement with Moscow under which Russian troops deployed in Moldova were permitted to travel through Ukrainian territory.

Agreements on cooperation in military reconnaissance and the mutual security of classified information were also overturned.

Russian-Ukrainian relations deteriorated dramatically following the February 2014 coup in Kiev that triggered Crimea's reunification with Russia and an armed conflict between government forces and independence supporters in the country’s east.

Ukrainian authorities along with their Western partners have repeatedly accused Moscow of meddling in the country’s internal affairs.

Russia has firmly denied playing any role in the Ukrainian crisis, calling for dialogue between the warring sides.
