MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Europe is reluctant to impose more sanctions on Russia, but many officials favor keeping the existing restrictions in place, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Thursday.

“I have heard no calls for more sanctions lately. However, many have said that it would be fair to keep the existing sanctions in place,” the top diplomat said.
