MOSCOW, November 22 (Sputnik) — A 5.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded in China’s southwestern province of Sichuan on Saturday, reported the US Geological Survey.
The quake hit Sichuan at 08:55 GMT. It shook at a shallow depth of 9.8 kilometers (6.1 miles) and occurred 39 kilometers northwest of the city of Kangding.
Local authorities haven’t reported any casualties or damage yet.
