Workers at a plant in Urals have found explosives in a battle tank they were modernizing, a local interior ministry department said on Thursday.
“When the hull of the tank was being disassembled, two metal containers were found containing 800 grams of plastic explosives without a detonator,” the department said in a statement.
A spokesman for the department added that there was no danger of explosion.
“A police bomb squad took the explosives for disposal. Its origin is being established,” he said
