Russia's Sedov barque, the largest windjammer in the world, has left the port of Reykjavik and has set course for Norway as part of its Northern Expedition.
During the vessel's four-day stop in Reykjavik, Icelanders had the opportunity to attend excursions on board, Tatyana Zhitnik, spokeswoman for the Murmansk State Technical University, which operates the vessel, said.
After leaving Reykjavik, Sedov headed for the Norwegian city of Tromso.
The barque is carrying 103 maritime students and has already visited Norway, Sweden and Finland.
During her port call in Oslo, Norway in May, the barque hosted a performance by Pyotr Nalitch, Russia's contestant at the 2010 Eurovision song contest.
