ISLAMABAD, August 22 (RIA Novosti, Yevgeny Pakhomov) - Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will meet during the September session of the UN General Assembly, the official spokesman for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said.

"This meeting will allow the two leaders to discuss all bilateral issues, including the problem of Jammu and Kashmir," Naeem Khan said, adding that the date of the meeting had not yet been fixed.

In 1947, British rule of India ended in the creation of two separate countries, India and Pakistan, for religious reasons. Relations between the two counties were hostile from the start. India and Pakistan, having fought three wars against each other, still have territorial disputes, including the former independent Kashmir province.

The sides recently began talks on conflict resolution.
