MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The North Atlantic alliance announced on Wednesday that NATO defense ministers would convene in Brussels on June 13-14.
"Allied Defence Ministers will meet at NATO Headquarters in Brussels on 13 and 14 June 2024. The meeting will be chaired by the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg," the military bloc said in a statement.
In recent years, Russia has observed a significant increase in NATO's activity near its western borders, which has raised concerns in Moscow. The Kremlin has consistently expressed alarm regarding the bloc's military buildup in Europe. Russia has emphasized that it does not pose a threat to anyone, but it also warned that it would not overlook actions that could potentially endanger its interests.
